The 2013 NFL Combine has come and gone. For the all the talk about how the combine drills aren’t important and don’t affect draft stocks, that was far from the case this year. Previous Top 10 locks Jarvis Jones, DaMontre Moore and Bjoern Werner all had lackluster combines and now look likely to go in the bottom half of the first round or possibly even fall out of the first round altogether. Then you have guys that you knew would test well (Ezekiel Ansah, Dion Jordan, Barkevious Mingo) shooting up draft boards. I don’t get it and I probably never will. But we’re not here to get into that debate. We’re here to relive some of the best, funniest, and just plain goofy moments from the 2013 NFL Combine.
First up, we pick up where we left off (the Super Bowl) to see the brothers Harbaugh are speaking to each other again.
Then we move on to an annual tradition at the combine, coaches getting bored and doing stupid stuff. This year’s lucky coach was Bill Belichick.
Next we have ESPN’s favorite athlete Tim Tebow Manti Te’o, who 4.8 40-yard-dash sunk his draft stock even further. Plus, we have a repeat appearance from John Harbaugh.
While the combine can be tedious at times, this year proed that it still could provide laughs courtesy of Keith Pough (broadh jump) and Shamarko Thomas (40-yard-dash).
Finally, we end with a combine tradition: Rich Eisen running the 40-yard-dash. Although this year Eisen doused himself with deer antler spray before running a 6.03.
